Cutting edge technical socks

Snickers Workwear launches a new collection of socks that consists of four different models that offer maximal comfort and technical innovations. The socks are available in three lengths and in two different materials.

“Considering how important socks are, they are still garments that we tend to overlook. Our recently launched collection all feature an optimal fit and excellent ventilation to make sure feet stay dry all day. They also offer extra protection, durability and support in the areas where it’s needed,” says Björn Kronke, Product Manager, Snickers Workwear.

To optimise the fit, the socks are right and left knitted, which prevents creasing in the toes. Thanks to rib knitting in the arch area the sock has a snug fit around the foot. The socks are strengthened in the heel and toe areas, where they are highly exposed to wear. In order to offer support and resilience for knee protection, the sock is thicker at the sole. The garment also features channels for moisture transportation.

The low sock is available in the Coolmax® material that helps the feet stay cool and dry throughout the workday.

The mid socks are thicker in the ankle and Achilles tendon areas thus offering extra stability and protection. They are available in two different functional materials. Coolmax® helps your feet stay cool and dry. WoolFusion™ makes sure your feet stay at a comfortable temperature as well as keeping them dry.

The natural antibacterial treatment helps maintain freshness.

Snickers Workwear also launches a high sock that suits workers needing extra protection in the shin area. It’s perfect for those who wear boots that may rub against the shin. This sock is available in the comfortable material WoolFusion™.

WoolFusion™, insulating WoolTech-blend, 57% wool, 5% silk, 35% polyamide, 3% lycra.
